Our legacy
The legacy of our dance studio spans for over 60 incredible years, thanks to the unwavering dedication of the beloved Miss Diane and Miss Melissa. For more than six decades, she poured her heart into building a place where dancers of all ages could grow, express themselves, and feel at home. Her passion, discipline, and love for teaching left a lasting mark on generations of students, many of whom returned as teachers, parents, and lifelong supporters of the studio. In 2019, Miss Jackie proudly stepped in to continue this cherished tradition, bringing her own warmth, talent, and leadership to the studio while honoring the foundation Miss Diane built. Today, that legacy continues through New Jennaration School of Dance, where both their visions live on in every class, every step, and every dancer who walks through our doors.
More about Miss Jenna
Miss Jenna’s journey in dance began at just three years old, when she stepped into the studio for the first time — the very same studio where both her mother and grandmother once danced under the beloved Miss Diane. Raised in a multigenerational dance family, Jenna quickly developed a passion for movement, training extensively in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, acro, hip-hop, and more. Her dance experience is rooted not only in technique but also in a deep respect for tradition and community.
Over the years, Jenna transformed from student to teacher, driven by a desire to inspire the next generation the same way she was inspired. In addition to teaching dance at JCDA, she proudly coaches cheer and lacrosse at Newfane High School, bringing her leadership, energy, and love of team spirit to every role she takes on. Her dedication to coaching and teaching reflects a lifelong commitment to building confidence, discipline, and joy in young performers — both on the stage and on the field.
